IT'S ALMOST DECEMBER, WHICH MEANS ITS ALMOST CHRISTMAS! AND STUFF.!

Tomorrow, it is December 1st, 2011.
That means there is only 24 days until Christmas.
That means only 24 days until more pairs of Miss Me jeans and Hollister/PINK shopping sprees.
That means buying 12083908190 songs on iTunes with giftcards, and not feeling guilty about it afterward.
That mean jolly music that makes my heart warm and makes me feel fuzzy inside.
That mean I don't have to wake up at 6 in the morning.

So, it means alot of things- all of which I CANNOT wait for.!
Yaya. This Friday, I might go iceskating with Ezra.!(: Oh and her birthday party is coming uppp.(:
So excited- cuz we are all camping and eating marshmallows and getting mauled by bears,..etc.(;
It's girls AND guys, double YAY.!

And, I'm just pumped. December is like one of my favorite months. I'm a stupid January baby. But I guess that's better than the day I was 'sposed to be born on- February 14. Ew. Valentine's Day. Valentinooooo day ugh. The day I see couples making out in the hallway, while I'm forever alone. So, I'm glad it's on not on V-Day. And, I don't wanna be born in December, 'cause you get ripped off. Relatives would send you like one gift and be all like "Merry Christmas/Happy Bday!!" Haha.
Except, I just realized; January is really close to Christmas!
Eh, I give everyone 3 weeks in between though, to get those pay checks(;

So today I was thinking- why do we care so much about what other people think of us? Why should that matter, ya know? Why is it that we always want positive from people, when if we never got negative, we wouldn't know the difference??? Just a thought. So, today was gross! Just ask Sydney. Oh, and here's my picture for today! Sorry I've kinna been slacking lately. I just gotz way too much on my plate.

Anyways, so today really was gross. I don't wanna go in detail too much- haha, I'll spare you. But in the morning this girl had a fake lip piercing and it got me and Syd talking about piercings and shes like "Oh ya they can cut your skin like anywhere and put a needle there so you can pretty much have a piercing anywhere". -____- Thanks for putting that image in my head(((: Shes like, YA, ANYWHERE!!!!! LIKE your back or leg or anything". Than in Extended Studies a guy was drinking water and somehow it got in his nose and he puked up BLOOD WITH CHUNKS IN IT! Sorry you had to read this. Welp, that's today. Oh, wait. I almost died today! This really...umm, big dude tripped when he was going down the stairs and I was at the bottom waiting for Sydney and HE ALMOST LANDED ON ME!! Ahhh, scary. Like hyperventilating scary. Like, my life flashed before me eyes.
I guess all my life consists of is my little brother sticking his tongue out, because that's what flashed before my eyes. AHAHAHA. :D love yall. xxx.

Life is a journey. Day 1.

Hiiii. I'm going to post a picture everyday for a month! For NaBloPoMo. Well, you're supposed to POST (like, as in WORDS!!! Aha.) everyday, which I'm gonna do that, too. But I am going to put a picture up, too. And today? You guys be lucky. You're gonna get a picture, a video, and a post. Okay, well, here's the thing- The theme you're supposed to do all your posts on is "SPROUTING". so ready? let's do this.

This picture is based on the growing of life- sprouting into bigger (not just physically, but mentally too) and maybe better things. I took a picture of a flower- well, soon to be- on a tree in my backyard. I'm also trying to try another thing out- Having a new perspective on life, trying a new side on things.

Do you like it? And, yes, that actually was taken by me. It's so good, it actually has you questioning that, doesn't it????!!! Hahahaha :D Anyways, while I was trying to take the PERFECT picture outside, my adorable and amazing little brother came out. He asked if we could play a few games of soccer, so I thought sure, why not? I decided to take a video of it, too, just so I could watch it later, and if it was interesting enough or good enough of a game, I could post it on here----well it was. Here is what happened the 3rd round!(:

Smooth, huh? As you can see, I literally fell on TOP of the poor guy. 80 pounds of me, like 30 pounds of him. He may be little, that Sammy, but he is GOOD at soccer. No joke. Like, I'm seriously re-thinking my soccer skillz! I can't beat a six-year-old? Ehhhh.

Now for the WORDS part of this thing- So, today, I got up and did my hair, put on my clothes (obviously....) and went to school. I sat with my bestest friend forever, Evan! In the morning! I love her, no homo. She is fantabulisoush! Anyways, usually I can't sit by her because there isn't enough room...ugh! /: So I sit by my other bestest friend forever, Laci! In fact, I stuck up for her on a FB post today. Speaking of that, SHE HAD HER FIRST KISS! TODAY! AT SCHOOL!!!! Laci, I'm sorry if you didn't want me to put this on here, but trust me, your mom doesn't read this, anyways....And when you're old and wrinkly and you forget who you're first kiss was with I will be all "HA I KNOW!!! CUZ I POSTED ABOUT IT! IT WAS WITH ________!" I'm not saying the name, because I am not gonna go THAT LOW. that would be like an invasion of privacy. Anyways. Off topic, much????? Here's the deal, though----I only have 2 BESTTTTTT FRIENDS, but I have alotta best frandz, friends, and....I-KNOW-YOU-FROM-FACEBOOK!!!!!!!!!'s. 

Wow, where am I going with this? Kay, so yesterday I didn't go to school 'cause I didn't feel good at all. Kinda like a not bad enough to stay home for a couple days, not good enough to go to school, so I just hung low for  day. Today, it's getting much better. But Evan caught it! We seriously think our dance teacher gave something to us. 'Cuz our dance teach kinda hates us(: I guess we talk too much(: Well, I don't GUESS, I KNOW.  But our teach came to dance sick, and yeah, that's pretty much it. So now me and Evan are all blah x[ At school, it was okay. I didn't have to catch up on anything, really. Oh, and I know this post wasn't exactly "professional" and the subjects are kindah jumping all over the place, but honestly, I don't have time to organize this. Better posts later? Haha, well, maybe! I just hope this was entertaining enough. Thanks for all the support and congrats to the giveaway winner! :D

Extra credit.

Okay, so a ton of good things happened today.
For one, if I bring back my permission slip tomorrow, I get 20 extra credit points for science.
So that 93.75%? It's gonna turn into this. Well, kinda. This is my World Studies Grade from LAST quarter.




The point is my grade in that class will be like 113! So happy(:
So far, my lowest grade is Language Arts. It's a 98%, which is still really really good, So I'm SUPER PROUD!!! And you're probably thinking, Shouldn't she have a 100% in that class?? She writes in a blog everyday...BUT that class isn't just writing. In fact, it's barley writing. It's mostly reading and taking tests on "The 5 Elements of Literature" and "The 8 Parts Of speech". Yeah, she was sooo right- our teach said (in the beginning of the year) that by the end of this unit we would be sick of those and we ARE. /:
But i guess it's worth it cause we have a huge test comin' up in April! I think I am ready for it(:

Sooo...to more better and important things, my day was awesome. In all of the classes, it seemed like the teachers were in a really great mood! So half the time I was just laughing and having a good time(: But nothing really BIG or SPECIAL happened today. Like Me burying sam, Sam pushing me in A pool, Me almost dying on a rollercoaster, Me getting stung by a jelly fish, A big fire, BLAH BLAH.

But, I do got something pretty entertaining for ya!
Apparently, my brother wants a little tux for picture day(: cute, right?
Well, he doesn't have it yet, but here's and idea for ya!!! Haha. It's SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY, no haters, please!

Time to tackle to the impossible.

Me love Sugar Land. (: Oh, yes, I do. But this move is super overwhelming. In two months we are expected to sort out EVERYTHING?????? FOR REALZ!!!? Spiff up our home, pack all of our stuff into brown boxes, sell it, buy a house here in Sugar Land in the best school district, sort out all of the extra curricular activities, make new friends, and so much more? On a week's notice? Ummm. Time for some serious work.

Crazy Stuff...

Mmkay,so today was kinda crazy. To say the least. Fights in the hallway? Check. Math teacher getting engaged? Check. Got busted for that day we acted crazy when there was a sub (see previous post!!)? CHECK!
So...yeah. I'm starting to get the vibe that you get what I'm sayin'???? Haha. (:
But, for the most part, the craziness was awesome. Exhilarating, actually!!!! Plus, on Wednesday we get to choose our electives for 7th grade, and if you have been a good student, like having good grades and behaving well and stuff that revolves around that, than your almost guaranteed to get the electives that you have chosen. Oh, and if you don't know what "electives" are (which you probably don't, if you don't go to my school) it's like 2 extra classes you do. There are four main core class which are Language Arts, World Studies, Math, and Science. Than you have two other class, and one of those is either Orchestra, Band, or P.E. And, obviously, Imma P.E. kindah girl!!(: I did it this year (it only lasts one semester, while the other ones last the whole year) and I'm sooo planning to do it next year, aslo, if I have it my way. :D
Anyways, the other class is either Art, Spanish, Leadership, or Keyboarding. You have one class every quarter and so far I've done Spanish and Keyboarding. Currently, I am in Leadership! I'm realllly looking forward to the next quarter though because (other than than the obvious reason that it will be the LAST QUARTER OF 6TH GRADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!) all of my friends have Art next quarter. I will finally have a class with one of my besties, Evan! And Maggie! Ahhh. Fun fun. :]
Okay, so finally getting off the subject of school, I'm gonna talk about pictures!!
School pictures. Okay, fine, we can talk about school a little longer, but this is different. It doesn't count as school. Just....school pictures!!(: Lolz!!! Hehehehe.
So, that's on Thursday! Yayaa! My yearbook picture looks like crap. So lets hope this one looks better?Yes, Aha..,(:

what i love.

Ahh.(: Nothing, and I mean NOTHING is
better than waking up in the morning to the soothing sound of "pitter, patter, pitter" on your window pane. Well, I did. And that started my\] day off energetic and happy. No, I really don't know why, but it just DID. Aha. Funny enough, I kinda used to be terrified of thunderstorms....NOW I find them kind of...calming. Howsoever,,.
moving on. I went to school, you know the usual lesson plans, work sheets, so called "fun activities" that turn out to be gay games,..blah blah blah. Buuut, we don't have too much homework.!!(: Oh, also, in Language Arts, Stephanie (my TWIN!!) being the sweet thing she is, let me have her "Free iPod Time" slip. That's pretty much where you get to listen to your iPod in class for a whole hour. But in order to get the "Free iPod Time", you have to trade your Gotchas in and how you get those is from teachers. For instance, when you are in the hallway, and you help someone pick up the books that they've dropped. If the teacher caught you in the act, you would more than likely earn a Gotcha. Anyways, back to the point!! So while I was listening to it a song I really liked came on called "No Hands". As you guys may or may not know, that song isn't exactly...ermh, "school-appropriate". Anyways., I loveeee that song despite it's "un-school-appropriateness" so I decides to crank the volume a little. But noooo, my finger just had to slip and turn the volume all the way up. ALL THE FREAKING WAY UP!! WITH MY FRIGGIN EARPHONES STILL IN! Umm, ow? I wasn't expecting full blast "Look ma, no hands, and no darlin' I don't dance!" and let's just say...I don't think the whole 6th hour class was either. Talk about embarrassing? And painful? Sorry little eardrums.(: I still love you even though I practically killed you(: ....
After that, when school was over, and we was all in the bus line, I did what any NORMAL 12 year old girl would do. I Justin Bieber-fied myself. Yup. That's right. We are talking sharpies and everything.

200th Post!

Oh my gosh! 200 posts! Can you believe it? Well, one things for sure. It's been long enough! I can't believe it. This blog has traveled for years through my life, going on a journey with me. And hopefully for years to come. But don't worry. I will never change the original name! The name is i-starr. And always will be. If I want a different name I will make a different blog to post different stuff, but i-starr will ALWAYS be here! (Until Blogger decides to go bankrupt or something. Which is why I am thinking about moving my blog to my website, too. Just in case!)  And sometimes the layout and format will be changed, but never the name.  Ever.  I love everyone who has been reading this and supporting me!  Thanks so much!!!  =)

Amusement Park

I got first place in the girls division at my karate tournament!  I would have got first against the boys, too, but I was only allowed to go against the girls.  How do I absolutely positively know I would've got first place?  My grandpa kept scores of everyone- and I got the highest scores!  No chiz!  That was on Saturday morning and my awesome family came and my best best friend for ever and and ever got up at 7 o'clock in the morning just to come when she could have been on her way to Girl Scouts and go to an awesome amusement park in the city.  That doesn't do her much justice, though- Mind you, she gets up at 5:45 (yes, a.m.) everyday.  Yes, that's what I said.  Then we went to the amusement park together (my mom took us) and had a blast.  We ate, met some really mean/stupid/ugly guys in front of us in line, tried to win a giant flamingo (which we spent $25 on.  Rip off.  They didn't even give us a refund!), and rode a bunch of roller coasters.  We got to pair of from our group!  Cool, am I right?  We spilt up into two groups- the Non Riding Roller Coasters group and the Adventurous Group.  From there we kind of went our different ways.  I love the way rides tickle your tummy!  The only not-so-good thing was that it started raining.  TWICE.   And we got soaked but it dried up pretty quick.  Then we headed home and that was that.  So awesome!

Okay, so the way I see it there are two kinds of love.  Real love, and what I like to call, superficial love.  Of course, you may say you LOVE that purse you saw in the mall- but...really?  I am just now realizing (Ha ha, I say it as if I have been here a long time...pshtaw!) that, and I wanna let ya guys know what I am thinking.  All of my life I have thought things like I need that! or I love that dress! but I guess I haven't thought about the real kind of love.  The REAL kind of love has problems.  Think of two best friends for example: Of course, they really love eachother, honestly- but there are problems, disagreements, and probably some fights, too.   But life goes on and they move on and will more than likely stay friends.   And that is only part of the "love" package.   You may find out who you love doesn't feel the same- which links back to "problems".  But this kind of problem usually only effects the one person who feels in love.   Love can't be described but I gotta give Urban Dictionary some props for trying.  I clipped some definitions that I though vaguely describe the powerful feeling.

The most spectacular,indescribable, deep euphoric feeling for someone.

Love is an incredibly powerful word. When you're in love, you always want to be together, and when you're not, you're thinking about being together because you need that person and without them your life is incomplete.It's when they're the last thing you think about before you go to sleep and when they're the first thing you think of when you wake up, the feeling that warms your heart and leaves you overcome by a feeling of serenity. Love involves wanting to show your affection and/or devotion to each other. It's the smile on your face you get when you're thinking about them and miss them. Love can make you do anything and sacrifice for what will be better in the end. Love is intense,and passionate. Everything seems brighter, happier and more wonderful when you're in love. If you find it, don't let it go.



One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life:



That word is love.

 

Honda CR-V

Our family got a new car!  A Honda CR-V.  We chose white, and we would have gotten black if we didn't already have a black Toyota.  Anyways, I LOVE it!  It is so much more spacey then our old Honda (Civic) and it is so much easier.

Wii Fit

Have any of you used the oh-so-wonderful Wii Fit?  It is terrific! Although we bought it over a year ago, I have just discovered the qualities of the Wii =)  I am not doing it to lose weight, of course, but the games are really fun and healthy! (Nice way to squeeze in those 60 minutes of exercise)
It may be a bit expensive, but it is WORTH IT.  It is a great way for you and your fam to get fit & healthy!    My suggestion : Get a Wii Fit!  =D

Thanksgiving Break

Today is Tuesday Friday!  Our school is out for the rest of the week, so when I would be learning math problems, I am going to be eating one unlucky turkey!  Yummmmm!  Today for our reading groups our group watched HOOT because that is the book we read.  It was really good, but - in my opinion - very different from the book.  Of course, I think the book was better, but the movie was really good too =D  It was a pretty laid back day, though, not much exciting things happened.  Eh, it's Tuesday, whadda ya expect?

Twilight

The obsession over Twilight is bad enough, but they have one more person group to add to their fans. I LOVE Twilight! I started reading the book about a hour ago, even though I bought it a little over a year ago. Back then, I didn't really understand the concept of the book and the vocabulary was too complex for my little brain to handle =D But I am already on page 136!
It is sooooo good! I will def not spoil the book, but I will for sure keep you up on my opinion.

This is definitely on my HOT LIST :)
